Empowering indigenous women in Congo

AZUR Développement and Association des Peuples autochtones du Congo (APAC) will work together to empower indigenous women in the regions of Bouenza and Lékoumou, in Republic of Congo.

Both organisations will develop in 2007 activities targeting indigenous women : training, support for income generating activities, women’s rights promotion, support for education of indigenous children, and HIV/AIDS prevention.
